To reach your running goals, it’s important to stay consistent and enjoy the process to keep your motivation strong. It can be helpful to start by defining some clear goals, such as:
“I want to get moving outside once a week”
“I want to grow as a runner”
“I want to run my first trail race”
It also helps to understand why these goals matter to you. I use an integrated mind and body approach—looking at both your physical and mental needs to help you feel happy and confident as a runner.
Running should feel like it’s part of your life, not an added burden. That’s why I aim to meet you where you’re at and help you build a love of outdoor movement that compliments your life, no matter what’s going on.
My coaching philosophy
What my coaching looks like
My main goal is to help you find a way to enjoy running—or any kind of outdoor movement—in a way that works for you.
I focus on both mind and body, which means we’ll talk and reflect before, during, and after runs.
Body
Build a training plan that fits your life
Plan running routes
Figure out what food/fuel works for you
Respond to the physical highs and lows of training
Mind
Explore what motivates you
Reflect on your mindset and outlook
Keep running fun and meaningful
Respond to the mental highs and lows of training
I offer both in-person and online coaching. I also lead individual and group runs in Vancouver and on the North Shore.
